Because refurbished electronics have been previously used, cosmetic condition can vary from device to device. To help customers know exactly what to expect, ReTech Resale uses a simple grading system based on appearance and wear — not functionality.

All devices we sell are tested for working condition regardless of cosmetic grade.

🥇 GRADE A — EXCELLENT

Devices in Excellent condition show minimal signs of prior use.

You can expect:

• Very light or nearly invisible cosmetic wear
• Clean screens with no major scratches
• Fully functional performance

These devices are ideal for customers wanting the closest experience to new while still saving money.

🥈 GRADE B — GOOD

Devices in Good condition may show normal signs of everyday use but remain fully functional.

You may notice:

• Light scratches or small cosmetic marks
• Minor wear on casing or edges
• No impact on performance or usability

This grade offers the best balance between value and appearance.

🥉 GRADE C — FAIR

Fair condition devices show visible cosmetic wear but are fully tested and operational.

Possible signs include:

• Noticeable scratches or scuffs
• Cosmetic imperfections from previous use
• Wear that does not affect core functionality

These devices are perfect for budget-focused buyers who prioritize performance over appearance.

Regardless of cosmetic condition, every device sold by ReTech Resale:

• Is tested for basic functionality
• Has undergone data removal and system reset
• Is cleaned and prepared for use
• Is honestly described in its listing
